Its notoriously difficult to describe to someone what you do when you work as a graphic designer in internal communications. Now its simple, I do what I have always loved doing, I paint pictures.

Our idea evolved, as many do, from a conversation in a pub. Unusually however, it still made sense the next morning so we embarked on our quest. We can all appreciate the skill of an artist and enjoy looking at a good painting. But what we wanted to do was create e-cards that did more than show a nice piece of art. Our idea was to show the exciting process of how this is achieved, to bring the picture to life by showing the different stages of its creation. We did a few tests to check that it was feasible, then assembled a team of experts to make our concept a reality. What you see now is the result of a year’s production and development!

Our team consists of Ofir, our teckie wizard and musician providing many of the music tracks you hear with the cards. Gavin, who does drawing and stuff, Duncan, who's brainchild this was, Rashid, who uses his creative magic to bring the cards to life, Tom, what he doesn't know about database websites isn't worth knowing, Hannah, who is helping us promote the whole concept as well as being an artist in her own right and Claire and Hanif who were instrumental (pardon the pun) in creating much of the music that accompanies the cards.
